YOUR STORY MATTERS

  • San Fernando Valley branch of the California Writers Club 23388 Mulholland Drive Los Angeles, CA, 91364 United States (map)

“Every writer senses that their strongest work comes from somewhere deeper than plot and character development alone.” Marks says, “Yet finding consistent access to those interior spaces where meaning, emotional truth, and narrative power converge, can feel elusive,”

Marks’ presentation will explore how writers can move beyond surface storytelling into the deeper currents that give stories lasting resonance. Her unique approach offers a way to work from the inside out, allowing character, theme, and plot to emerge from a coherent inner core rather than from imposed formulas.

In-person attendees do not need to register in advance. Members free. Guests pay $10 at the door. First visit free. Please arrive a few minutes early. Zoom Attendees: Zoom guests may purchase admission at www.cwc-sfv.org by noon on February 6. After purchasing admission, guests will receive a Zoom invitation.  Late requests cannot be accommodated.
